132 Stalls Along Jl Bendungan Melayu Demolished

As much as 132 street vendors' shanties that are alongside Jalan Bendungan Melayu, Rawa BAdak Selatan, urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta, demolished on Wednesday (10/7).
We have sent them a warning letter to demolish their own shanties. But, they ignored it,
Budi Santoso, Vice Head of Koja Sub-District said the shanties must be controlled due to trigger the traffic jam around the area.

Along with Sub-dept. of Micro Small Middle Cooperative and Trade (KUMKMP), his side will find new location for the street vendors.
"The new location would be centered in traditional markets," he added.
Yuli, (48), one of the street vendors hoped there would be solution for this matter.
"It's their right to control our shanties, but please find us solution," she asked.
